Sheldon Inwentash, Chairman and CEO
Sheldon Inwentash, as Chairman and CEO, is responsible for providing the overall strategic vision and direction for the Company. Mr. Inwentash and his management team actively identify new oil and gas properties and build productive relationships with oil and gas project partners. Mr. Inwentash brings more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry and a deep understanding of progressive investment and financial management strategies. In 2007, he was an Ontario finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. A Chartered Accountant, Mr. Inwentash is also the Chairman and CEO of Pinetree Capital Ltd., a Canadian investment company with a portfolio of investments primarily in the resource and energy sectors.
Jonathan Schroeder, President and COO
As President and COO, Mr. Schroeder is responsible for the management of Brownstone's diverse array of projects. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Schroeder was recently the President and founder of two private oil and gas companies, Gladius Energy Inc. and Carrack Energy Inc., both private western-Canadian, oil and gas exploration and production companies, which he developed from concept to production. Mr. Schroeder has over 20 years of operating experience, with over 10 years at Petro-Canada.
Gerry Feldman, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Feldman is responsible for the overall financial management of Brownstone Ventures. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Feldman specialized in audits of brokerage houses, public companies, Investment Councilor and Limited Market Dealers, Mutual Fund Dealers and Mutual Funds.
Richard Patricio, VP Legal & Corporate Affairs
Richard Patricio, as Vice President Corporate & Legal Affairs and Secretary, is responsible for merger and acquisition activity, corporate transactions and the overall administration of Brownstone Ventures. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Patricio practiced law at a top tier law firm in Toronto and worked as in-house General Counsel for a senior TSX listed company. Mr. Patricio is a lawyer qualified to practice in the Province of Ontario.
